Alex Chipperfield, MBBS, MRCS, FRCS (Tr & Orth), has 30 years of experience in medicine. He qualified in London and trained in orthopaedics in London and the South East before completing a fellowship in hip and knee surgery in Sydney.
Mr Chipperfield was appointed as a consultant in trauma and orthopaedics in East Kent in 2010 and developed a busy practice in hip and knee arthroplasty, revision surgery, and complex trauma management.
Since 2022, Mr Chipperfield has worked purely in the independent sector, focused on delivering an exceptional service in hip and knee surgery.
He is a high-volume arthroplasty surgeon dedicated to innovation and improved outcomes through enhanced recovery, biological interventions, technological innovation and robotic assisted surgery.
