Dr Mansoubi is a fully trained Cardiothoracic Radiologist who provides expert opinion in thoracic imaging and performs image-guided biopsies including transthoracic pericardiocentesis.
He has expertise across radiology with specialization in cardiac CT and MRI. His work has led to improved safety of lung biopsy and a better understanding of who needs a biopsy and who doesn’t. He’s also helped significantly reduce the amount of radiation received from chest imaging for thoracic patients.
Dr Mansoubi is an invited speaker at national and international conferences, including the Royal College of Radiologists meeting and the European Congress of Radiology. He has published in peer-review journals and is currently editor of the British Institute Radiology Journal.
